26 elected representatives and 30 political secretaries take their oath in front of MACC chief

KUCHING: Sarawak created history in the country yesterday when all BN elected representatives and political secretaries to the Chief Minister took the integrity pledge.

Last January 15, Chief Minister Datuk Patinngi Tan Sri Adenan Satem had led his ministers and assistant ministers to sign the integrity pledge. The state cabinet would then have to submit their declaration of assets to Adenan and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

 Yesterday, 26 BN elected representatives and 30 political secretaries inked the integrity pledge at the State Legislative Assembly complex in front of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed in line with efforts by the Adenan administration to promote clean and transparent governance.

Adenan, who was present, said he was very happy the political secretaries and BN backbenchers had voluntarily stepped forward to pledge their integrity.

“They were not forced to do so. They had taken their own initiative to make the pledge.

“They want to show to the people how sincere they are in discharging their duties. Don’t expect corruption to go away the moment we sign the pledge, but this is a good first step to take,” said Adenan to reporters after the ceremony.

Rafizi yang konon berani isytihar hartanya hanya akhirnya dedahkan kedudkan kewangannya yang begitu dipersoalkan. Macam mana kerja beberapa tahun dengan Petronas bboleh ada cash RM2 juta setelah tolak aset kereta dan rumah?

Bulan2 dapat yuran konsultansi RM3 ribu yang mana tak masuk akal dia sempat buat kerja konsultan. Duit apa tu Rafizi???
