USA unqualified to urge Malaysia

Dear U.S Embassy,

As a Malaysian citizen, i would like to respond to your letter to the editors of Malaysia in regards of the application of SEDITION ACT in Malaysia.

I thank you for your concern, however, should you have the interest to show your concern in the rule of law and human rights in Malaysia, I would like show my concern of the same rule of law and human rights in your country. Can?

First of all, in Malaysia, there is no more ISA (Internal Security Act) which was abolish in 2011 and yet, America still has its Internal Security Act of 1950 to protect the United States against certain un-American and subversive activities by requiring registration of Communist organizations, and for other purposes. Meaning, you are lucky to still have your ISA.

Sedition help to curb racism while racism still exist in US

Now, you are touching on Malaysia's Sedition act. Why?

You have your own  Sedition Act (of 1918) which I can say have been used on many occasions as 'reason' to imprison alleged offenders even before they are trial by any justice courts. And yet, you are concern about the act in Malaysia.

Please refer to the Adam Taylor report on The Washington Post (attached) and take in the concern of what is happening in your own backyard in regards of rule of law and human rights before you look over into others.

As for the Judiciary aspect of things, look into your Guantanamo Bay Hell Prison and maybe you can find over 10,000 violations including indefinite imprisonment of many detainees without charge or trial which violated the international law.

All and all, "Change, Before You Try To Change Others".

Thank You,
Eddie Freedom
